Camp Amenities

Each camp during the season has tailored activities to fit the group on the grounds. Below are some of the amenities that you will enjoy. Please register at the camp office upon entering Chambers camp and receive information about happenings during the camp season.

Dining Hall

We offer a full buffet for all of our campers. The cost per person includes unlimited refills, salad bar, breakfast bar, and various buffet entrees.
Meals can be purchased by the meal or day from the camp office or dining hall.

Camp Office

The camp office is located at the Campground Road. Registration upon entrance of the grounds is required. Housing reservations, meal tickets, information about activities and amenities is available here.

Activities

Swimming Pool, Water Slide, Basketball, Volleyball, Four-Square, Tetherball, Gaga ball, Hiking, Arts & Crafts, bonfires, daily family Activities, and a nature trail along the creek and pond area. Additionally, individual camps have afterglows, parades, concerts, and many other organized events.

Toilets & Bath House

Rest Rooms, Shower rooms, Pool Bath house, and out houses are available.

Washing Machines

Washing machines are available on the backside of the restroom nearest the playground.

Bible Studies, Seminars & Worship Services

Each camp has times focused upon spiritual growth designed for the group attending.

Medical Assistance

There is a first aid/nurse's station and medical assistance provided during camping sessions. Schuyler Hospital and Guthrie Corning Hospital and Arnot Ogden Medical Center are only a short distance away.

Snack Shop and Pavillion

A snack shop is open during camps providing treats during the day and grill items in the evening. A pavillion is available with picnic tables and carpet ball.

General Store

A general store is open during camps, check the schedule of the camp for hours. General supplies, clothing, books, coffee & snacks, and camping items are available.

Pool & Waterslide

Pool access is provided during camps. Check each camp's schedule for hours of operation. Swim lessons and water aerobics are also provided during some camps.
The Hippo waterslide is quite a ride for those feeling adventurous!

Meeting Areas

Multiple meeting areas are available for small and large group gatherings with flexible seating arrangements, and additionally a retreat center with both lodging and a meeting area.
A prayer cabin is also available for quiet moments.

About Chambers Camp

Chambers Camp is located in Beaver Dams, NY. It is owned by the Penn York District Wesleyan Church and operated by a board of directors. Chambers Camp is a faith-centered camp and welcomes all.
